Incubi and Succubi

1. (Myth & Legend / European Myth & Legend) a demon believed in folklore to lie upon sleeping persons, esp to have sexual intercourse with sleeping women. 2. something that oppresses, worries, or disturbs greatly, esp a nightmare or obsession. suc·cu·bus (sky-bs) also suc·cu·ba (-b)n. pl. suc·cu·bus·es or suc·cu·bi (-b, -b) also suc·cu·bae (-b, -b) 1. A female demon supposed to descend upon and have sexual intercourse with a man while he sleeps. 2. An evil spirit; a demon. Are Incubi and Succubi real or is this just a product of the psyche? This is most common when someone is going through puberty, but can happen at anytime. Our minds can create very real feelings. Ask someone who has had a limb removed and they will say that they still feel as if it is still there. This is what leads to balance issues, the brain is still thinking an arm is there and the weight of it still there, so the person loses balance very easy. Most Magi summon succubus or incubus when they are single, or feeling horny, they do this consciously. However this can happen unconsciously as well. It is all too easy for our minds to create things that are not there, especially when we feel we are in danger from others. Some Orders will tell the Initiate that during initiation their Soul will be removed and a demon placed inside, that completely takes over them and their life. This is mind control, and used in many of the Eagle Orders as a way to get people to change personality instantly. Now we would think that if someone was told this before hand, they wouldn't do it. However it is amazing what a curious, dispossessed or depressed person will do. They are told that their new self will have magick powers and gain great strength and if they believe it enough, they will and their life will completely change, it is hypnosis and mind control. The worse thing about it is that these Orders will tell those joining that hypnosis is really bad and they should never be involved with it, as it will summon evil spirits and stuff. Why would they say that? Well because they don't want them learning about it then realising they are under mind control themselves. Our Order teaches hypnosis and NLP among many other things, then we can empower ourselves and spot when we are being manipulated. Getting back to the topic. It is possible for someone to project themselves, or even create astral entities, or travel themselves astrally, but these things are again working on you psychologically. They influence you through your own mind. If you know how to protect yourself from outside manipulation they simply can't effect you. ..
